Referring to the importance of holding the Third Tehran Dialogue Forum (TDF), Pak Aein in an interview with IRNA said that dialogue-based meetings like TDF are considered significant meetings because the elites of Iran and various states talk together about international and regional issues and offer various solutions for peace and security in the region and the world.
Holding Tehran Dialogue Forum in the first step demonstrates Iran's authority and influential role in establishing peace and stability in the world, and also indicates that the Islamic Republic of Iran believes in dialogue to solve problems and does not recommend war, disputes, and conflicts to solve the problems of the world or the region.
Pointing to the topics which were discussed in the Tehran meeting, he said that one of the main topics which were discussed was about creating a common process to confronting US dictatorship and unilateralism in the world besides imposing Western values on other countries, as well as countering terrorism, violence, and extremism as well as sectarianism, and trying to strengthen unity among various communities and emphasize preventive diplomacy to resolve differences.
One of the particular issues discussed at the meeting was Afghanistan, which is a very important topic of discussion and its future should be clarified because it has a direct relationship with regional security as well as the fight against terrorism, he stated.
