Mehdi Taj who was speaking at the 2nd Coordination Meeting of Concerned Minister and Organizations shortly before the national team's presence in the 2022 Doha World Cup, speaking about the World Cup tickets cost for the Iranian football fans, said, "The World Cup tickets are presented to the fans in 3 categories, of 240 million, 18 million and 7.5 million rials, and I assume we will have 2,226 Iranian football fans in Qatar World Cup."
Speaking about the current status of the national football team, he said, "Generally speaking we have no problem for a prestigious presence of our national football team in the World Cup. The national team is in the preparation camp and I believe the players chosen by Head Coach Carlos Queiroz are all excellent."
Speaking about the program of the team till the beginning of the World Cup competitions, too, Taj said, "On Thursday the team has a friendly game that will be played in Tehran and on Wednesday, November 16th, they will play another friendly versus Tunisia."
The Football Federation head said that the team is in an ideal condition, and Iran hopes to rise from the preliminary to the 2nd round of the games.
Iran national football team in 2022 World cup will play versus Britain, the United States, and Wales and its first game is versus Britain on Monday, November 21st.
