-- Chak Chak Fire Temple in Yazd, a notable attraction
The central province of Yazd showcases a collection of the top Zoroastrian attractions of the world. One of the most precious sites is Chak Chak Temple (also known as Pir-e Sabz Shrine), near Ardakan (70km from Yazd). With over 1,400 years of history and mysterious legends, this sacred place has been attracting pilgrims and visitors for a long time.
Why is this temple known as Chak Chak? From ancient times, Iranians have been building their temples alongside running water, because to them water was a symbol of purity and light.
From the heart of the mountain, where the temple is located, water flows down and you can hear the pleasant sound of water dripping down. That’s why the place became known as Chak Chak (meaning drip drip).

-- Iran Gave Drones to Russia Months Before War
Foreign Minister Hussein Amir-Abdollahian on Saturday dismissed media controversy over Iran’s alleged support for Russia in the Ukraine war, assuring that Tehran will not be indifferent if it is proven that Russia has used Iranian drones in the conflict.
Speaking to reporters, Amir-Abdollahian once again rejected claims that Iran has provided Russia with missiles and drones to be used in the Ukraine war.
“Our relations with Russia are based on neighborhood and mutual interests. I would like to emphasize here that the fuss made by some western countries that Iran has provided Russia with missiles and drones to help it in the Ukraine war, claims about the missile part is completely wrong and the drone part is correct,” he said.
-- Iran’s Skywards Ascent
A day after scores of millions of Iranians rallied on the streets in over 900 towns and cities in what could rightly be called an overwhelming confirmation of the April 1979 referendum that established the Islamic Republic, Iran set a new ‘skymark’ by successfully launching into outer space a three-stage solid fuel suborbital carrier.
Kudos to the country’s young and aspiring scientists and engineers for their unstoppable endeavours to maintain the steady pace of progress in the face of the most stringent sanctions whose failure prompted super terrorist US to incite a handful of thugs, terrorists and traitors to try to disturb the peace in Iran in the vain hope of derailing national development.

--Talabun: Age-old tradition to invite wedding guests
Inviting guests to a wedding ceremony can be done in several ways, such as sending invitation cards, calling them, or meeting them in person. People on Kharg Island, situated in Iran’s Bushehr province, have an old tradition of inviting wedding guests. It is called Talabun.
This tradition is a way of inviting relatives to participate in the wedding as the wedding hosts decorate trays with green cloth and bowls of Noql (sugar-coated almonds) and Nabat (sugar candy) as well as flowers and sweets. Then they send the trays to the houses of relatives and neighbors to inform them of the wedding and invite them to the ceremony.
