Amirabdollahian, who flew to New York along with Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi on September 19 to take part in the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly, said that he has held important talks with his Brazilian, Jordanian, Dutch, Swiss, and Austrian counterparts.
Meeting with President of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Peter Maurer was also among his talks in New York.
The foreign minister is still in New York to continue the Iranian government's active diplomacy on the sidelines of the 77th UNGA.
