Bouthaina Shaaban, media adviser to the President of Syria, wrote in an article, which has been published in Al Watan newspaper on Monday that President Raisi played a crucial role in agenda, ideas and decisions of the recent summit of the SCO.
What distinguished the summit in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, was that the heads of states focused on organizing ideas and principles to create effective international cooperation in order to get rid of the Western imperialistic hegemony, which is the root cause of wars and looting of people's assets, she mentioned.
According to the former minister of expatriates of Syria, the ideas proposed in the summit promote interests of the nations in order to provide people with secure lives based on the framework of the organization.
The member states of the SCO have decided to prepare a unified list of terrorist, secessionist and extremist organizations, whose activities are forbidden in these countries, she added.
As President Raisi emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran does not accepts illegal sanctions, the final statement of the SCO summit underlined that unilateral economic embargo except from the sanctions imposed by the UN Security Council are in contradiction with international laws and regulations, the analyst argued.
Therefore, the Samarkand communiqué seems to be the most important statement that rules out the Western unipolar world, calling for formation of multipolarity, which respects partnership and dignity among nations, she noted.
The history will register the Samarkand summit as the most significant effort to pave the way for the birth of a new world order based on justice, she mentioned, adding that this event is considered also the first real nail in the coffin of the Western hegemony.
