Tehran, IRNA – Iran's National Orchestra in its first performance in the current Iranian year (starting on March 20) will perform the film scores of the two Iranian classical movies: "Del Shodegan (Love-stricken) composed by Hossein Alizadeh and "Mother" composed and conducted by Arsalan Kamkar, according to Roudaki Foundation.

According to Roudaki Foundation, the program was first to be performed on June 16 but was later rescheduled for Friday July 2.

Interested people and fans can watch the event on the website of the Roudaki Foundation on July 9 at 9:00 p.m.

The movie "Mother" by Ali Hatami reveals how a mother acts in the hardest parts of her and her children's lives. This movie progresses along with two distinct but interwoven series of events. The first series involves young members of a family who have gathered round their old mother and revive their common childhood memories. The second line focuses on the old woman's preparations for her last journey and her joyous cooperation in arranging for the ceremonies that are to be observed after her death.

Del Shodegan is about Iranian classical musicians of Qajar time and their struggles to release their first record which takes them on a journey to France.
