Directed by Mojtaba Mousavi and produced by Elaheh Farnia, 'Mr. Deer' is considered as a stop motion animation which uses the puppet technique to narrate a story set in an unknown time.
Established in 1972, the World Festival of Animated Film, Animafest Zagreb, is the second oldest film festival in the world completely dedicated to animation.
The 28th edition of the festival was held from June 4 to 9 at different locations across the Croatian capital of Zagreb.
'Mr. Deer' is also attending the competition section of the 42nd Annecy International Animation Film Festival in France. The 42nd edition of the event will take place from June 11-16 in Annecy.
Founded in 1960, the Annecy International Animation Film Festival promotes competition between cartoon films of various techniques such as animated drawings, cut-out papers, modeling clay and the like, classified in various categories.
