Iranian, Turkish, Azeri FMs to attend tripartite meeting in Erzurum

Ankara, Nov 20, IRNA – Foreign ministers of Iran Ali-Akbar Salehi, of Turkey Ahmet Davutoğlu, and of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov are to hold their third meeting in Erzurum. on November 28 to discuss issues of interesta.

The first such meeting was held in Orumiyeh, Iran, while the second one in the autonomous Republic of Nakhichevan.

The first meeting ended with a statement which emphasized the three countries' historical and exemplary relations.

They agreed on helping one another upgrade their economic ties and welfare and cooperate in the fields of trade, industry, investment, transportation, communication, energy, science, technology and tourism.

They agreed to form a tripartite economic committee to examine ways and means of signing a preferential trade agreement, ease customs affairs, modernize border points, and establish joint companies.
