Publisher said that the dictionary will be helpful to students and translators from the Greek language to Persian.
Speaking to IRNA, Qaneeifard said the dictionary contains 35,000 entries giving 98,000 Persian citations to the Greek words.
The compiler admitted that the pocket dictionary falls short of the demands of the students, but, hoped to publish complete edition afterwards.
The dictionary is planned to be released simultaneously in Tehran and Athens in April 2014.
Qaneeifard said that he worked six years to compile the lexicon.
The concise dictionary is 950 pages.
The dictionary will be unveiled in a special ceremony in Tehran to mark longstanding cultural affinities between Iran and Greece.

Tehran, Jan 29, IRNA - Iran’s first-ever Greek-Persian dictionary compiled by Erfan Qaneeifard will be published in the near future, according to IRNA cultural desk reporter.
