Jews, Muslims will stand with Palestinians until full liberation of Palestine: Rabbi

London, IRNA – Two Jewish and Muslim clerics living in the United Kingdom have emphasized the importance of participating in the World Quds Day march, noting that they will stand with the people of Palestine until the full liberation of Palestine.

In an exclusive interview with IRNA on Thursday, a member of the anti-Zionist Neturei Karta movement, Rabbi Elhanan Beck, said that it is important to attend World Quds Day and expressed hope that the Palestinian land would eventually return to its original owners.

He added that they would not remain silent on the issue of Palestine, noting that they would take to the streets to show that they stand by the people of Palestine.

Elsewhere in his remarks, he said that the Zionists claim that the Jews want an independent and secure land; however, by founding Israel, they have spread hatred against Jews and created problems for them.

Also, a Muslim cleric living in Britain Hujjat al-Islam Meisam Ghasemi said that World Quds Day shows that defending the Palestinian people is not a religious but a humanitarian issue. He added that humanity defends the oppressed on this day.
