Kazzem Jalali made the remarks on Tuesday in a press conference at the Russian media center in Moscow, after expressing his sympathy and condolences to the Russian government and people for the death and injury of a large number of Russian citizens in the terrorist attack on the Crocus City Hall.
Iran's ambassador in Moscow continued by condemning the continuation of brutal attacks by the Zionist regime on the Gaza Strip in the holy month of Ramadan, and expressed his regret over the inability of countries and organizations claiming to support human rights to stop these crimes.
He said that in this situation, there is actually a movement called resistance and it can be a breakthrough.
Jalali pointed out that the method followed by the Zionist regime shows that the only way forward is resistance, even some who proposed non-comprehensive plans such as two governments, and "we in the Islamic Republic of Iran were against it from the beginning because we do not consider the Zionist regime to be a regime that remains true to its promises".
He added that even now, "we see that the Zionist regime is against the two-state plan".
