Iranian cultural attaché in Spain Mohammad Mehdi Ahmadi highlighted Islam’s emphasis on peace and the need to avoid clashes and conflicts and reiterated that peace is one of the most fundamental concepts in Islamic teachings.
Head of the University of Mysticism in Avila Jerzy Nawojowski also said during the forum that believing in God is a fundament for peace in all religions.
Yusuf Fernandez, who serves as secretary of the Muslim Federation of Spain, also addressed the meeting about Islam’s view of peace.
