Safari, who accompanies First Vice-President Mohammad Mokhber in Moscow to attend the second meeting of the CSF highlighted the demand for engineering services and such goods as construction materials and auto parts in some Caspian Sea littoral states, said that Iran should seize the opportunity to supply those demands to win the competition.
He said that Iran and Russia had made agreements on transit-related cooperation, investment in Rasht-Astara railway, and the green customs route.
The deputy foreign minister also underscored the importance of the first vice-president’s meetings with Russian businesses, including Gazprom, in expansion of ties and cooperation between Tehran and Moscow.
Mokhber will also meet Russian governors-general which is of high significance, as said by Safari.
