Safari made the remarks in a meeting with Wafa Hajiyev, the deputy foreign minister of Turkmenistan.
He emphasized Iran's readiness to increase cooperation in the fields of oil, gas, electricity, and transit as well as facilitating transportation along the north-south corridor.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed promoting economic cooperation, especially energy, transportation and transit.
