Amirabdollahian made the remarks in a meeting with Foreign Minister of Lebanon Abdallah Bou Habib while congratulating the formation of the new government.
Referring to the great capacities for the comprehensive expansion of bilater relations, he said that there are good opportunities in various fields to develop cooperation in the economic sector.
By controlling the coronavirus pandemic, both sides can also expand tourism between the two countries, Amirabdollahian further noted.
He expressed Iran’s readiness to hold a joint commission meeting between the two countries in the near future.
