President Raisi leaves for Tajikistan to attend SCO summit

Tehran, IRNA – Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi left Tehran for Dushanbe, Tajikistan 0n Thursday to take part in Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit.

President Raisi has been invited by Tajikistan’s President Emomali Rahmon to participate and deliver speech in the SCO summit.

The Iranian president will also hold meetings with leaders and heads of delegations on the sidelines of the summit.

Ministers of foreign affairs, energy, labor, cultural heritage and justice accompany the president during the visit.

President Raisi will have a bilateral meeting with the Tajik President after the summit and high-ranking delegations from Iran and Tajikistan will discuss expansion of ties.
