Maintaining stability, security in Persian Gulf, Iran’s principle policy: Mission

The embassy in a statement on Tuesday said news items published related to occurrence of successive security incidents about ships in the Persian Gulf and the sea of Oman are completely doubtful.

“This embassy wants awareness of the esteemed media persons regarding any type of artificial atmosphere for specific political objectives in the media,” the statement said.

It added no need to reiterate that Zionist regime in view of its long-standing enmity against the Islamic Republic of Iran, when the new government to start its work and after the sound and sober process of transfer of power in Iran, vying for plotting to level accusations and creating tensions in the region. Unfortunately, some Western governments have also supported this negative and biased trend.

The embassy further said in addition, the Zionist regime has been trying to seriously disrupt the constructive process of dialogue by Iran with the other countries in the framework of The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).  The recent desperate efforts of this regime in this regard can also be examined and carefully considered.

It said the Islamic Republic of Iran, while having complete readiness to give firm response, as always has shown a complete restraint against such baseless and provocative activities.

As it’s the principle policy to establish and maintain stability and security in the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.  Iranian Navy by announcing to provide the assistance and the services to the ships passing through the region has the readiness to provide maritime support services; in case of any problem in the navigation system.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to provide assistance and examine the issue closely. The Islamic Republic of Iran has often declared its readiness to have cooperation with the regional countries in this regard,” said the statement.

So, it is requested from the free and fact seeking media, to be aware about creation of atmosphere by the biased media in this regard and for publication of any content regarding these incidents, rely on official, independent and authentic source only.
