Hao is in Iran to attend the ceremony to commemorate the registration of Burnt City on UNESCO’s World Heritage List.
Hao was accompanied, during his Kashan trip, by Iran’s Ambassador to UNESCO Ahmad Jalali and the deputy head of Iran’s Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization, Mohammad Hassan Talebian.
Jalali told IRNA on the sidelines of the visit, that the main aim of his visit was to get acquainted with Iran’s activities in the fields of protecting cultural heritage and developing education.
Hao Ping said that Iran played key role in building the world civilization.
Hao praised Iran for being very successful in protecting its historical sites so amazingly.
