JCPOA Joint Commission to reconvene in Vienna

Tehran, April 17, IRNA – Joint Commission of the JCPOA will reconvene in Vienna later in the day to review the process of bringing the JCPOA on track and sum up expertise views.

The meeting will be chaired by Deputy of European Union Foreign Policy Chief Enrique Mora. Iran’s delegation is led by Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.

The meeting is set to start at 13:00 Vienna time and the delegates will decide on how to move forward to make decisions.

The latest round of talks between Iran and other participants to the JCPOA to revive the deal started on Thursday in Vienna at expertise level.

Araghchi said on today’s session that the talks will be held in the form of working groups and bilateral and multilateral meetings and discussions.

He also said that there would be decisions on how fast to move forward and which issues must be settled.
