“Western countries mainly pin their hopes on the popular protests in order to overthrow the Islamic Republic,” Ayatollah Khamenei told a ceremony marking the 33rd anniversary of the passing of Ayatollah Rouhollah Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic, in Tehran.

Iran vowed on Friday to show an “immediate response” to any move against it by the United States and European countries at the UN nuclear agency IAEA whose chief Rafael Grossi made an unusual visit to Occupied Palestine ahead of a planned meeting by the Board of Governors on Tehran’s nuclear program.
“Any political action by the United States and the three European countries in the agency (IAEA) will undoubtedly be met with a proportionate, effective and immediate response from Iran,” Iranian Foreign Minister Hussein Amir-Abdollahian said.

The occupying regime’s prime minister Naftali Bennett says Israel is “facing a real test” as it is experiencing an unprecedented situation and teetering on the brink of its collapse.
“Our unified sovereignty has disintegrated twice in ancient times due to internal conflicts. The first break-up took place 80 years after its foundation, whereas the second one came about 77 years later. We are now living in the third era, and are approaching the 80-year mark. We are all facing a real test, and wondering whether we will be able to preserve Israel,” Bennett said in a message circulated on social media networks on Friday.

As the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Board of Governors were supposed to hold a meeting to review the case of Iran’s peaceful nuclear activities on Monday, news broke out that the meeting is most likely to be convened on Wednesday.
Russian ambassador to international organizations in Vienna Mikhail Ulyanov wrote in a tweet on Saturday, “As a matter of fact the Iranian issue will be discussed by the IAEA Board of Governors most likely on Wednesday.”
