Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said Saturday the enemies are seeking to pit the Iranian people against their government and the Islamic Establishment but all to no avail.
“Western countries mainly pin their hopes on the popular protests in order to overthrow the Islamic Republic,” Ayatollah Khamenei told a ceremony marking the 33rd anniversary of the passing of Ayatollah Rouhollah Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic, in Tehran.

The attendance of Iranians at the anniversaries of Ayatollah Rouhollah Khomeini’s passing has always been high. This year’s ceremony saw people renew their allegiance to the lofty ideals of the Imam and the Islamic Revolution once again.

The Foreign Ministry says Iran’s three islands in the Persian Gulf are eternal parts of the country’s territory.
Iran reacted to a recent statement by the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council at a session in the Saudi capital Riyadh about the Iranian islands of Abu Musa, Greater Tunb and Lesser Tunb.

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei says Iran’s enemies have pinned their hopes on protests to overthrow the Islamic Republic, but they are mistaken.
“The enemies have pinned their hopes on popular protests to damage the country,” the Leader told participants at a massive ceremony to mark the 33rd anniversary of the passing of Imam Khomeini.

-- IAEA Liaison With Zionists: Iran Warns of ‘Immediate Response’

Iran vowed on Friday to show an “immediate response” to any move against it by the United States and European countries at the UN nuclear agency IAEA whose chief Rafael Grossi made an unusual visit to Occupied Palestine ahead of a planned meeting by the Board of Governors on Tehran’s nuclear program.
“Any political action by the United States and the three European countries in the agency (IAEA) will undoubtedly be met with a proportionate, effective and immediate response from Iran,” Iranian Foreign Minister Hussein Amir-Abdollahian said.

-- Bennett: Zionist Regime on Brink of Collapse

The occupying regime’s prime minister Naftali Bennett says Israel is “facing a real test” as it is experiencing an unprecedented situation and teetering on the brink of its collapse.
“Our unified sovereignty has disintegrated twice in ancient times due to internal conflicts. The first break-up took place 80 years after its foundation, whereas the second one came about 77 years later. We are now living in the third era, and are approaching the 80-year mark. We are all facing a real test, and wondering whether we will be able to preserve Israel,” Bennett said in a message circulated on social media networks on Friday.

-- Grossi is actively campaigning against Iran

As the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Board of Governors were supposed to hold a meeting to review the case of Iran’s peaceful nuclear activities on Monday, news broke out that the meeting is most likely to be convened on Wednesday.

Russian ambassador to international organizations in Vienna Mikhail Ulyanov wrote in a tweet on Saturday, “As a matter of fact the Iranian issue will be discussed by the IAEA Board of Governors most likely on Wednesday.”

-- Ayatollah Khamenei underlines need to counter enemy propaganda machine

In his Saturday speech, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei drew the nation’s attention to a relatively new phenomenon that is affecting the “soul and heart” of large swaths of Iran’s population: Media warfare. 

After two years of corona-related restrictions on his public appearances, the Leader headed Saturday to the Imam Khomeini Mausoleum to address the people on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the demise of Imam Khomeini. 

-- Russia must not be “humiliated”, says France

French President Emmanuel Macron says it is vital that Russia is not humiliated so that a diplomatic solution can be found when the fighting in Ukraine comes to an end.

Speaking in an interview with regional newspapers, Macron stressed that he is “convinced that it is France's role to be a mediating power."
