Ahmadian made the remarks in a meeting held in Tehran on Sunday with the visiting Syrian Prime Minister Hussein Arnous.
Referring to the deep-rooted ties between Iran and Syria, Ahmadian expressed hope that the Axis of Resistance should develop and expand cooperation in the economic areas on par with political, defense, and security relations.
He pointed out that today, despite the all-out and even operational support of the US and the use of all its military and intelligence capabilities, the Zionist regime has not achieved any of its goals in Gaza, which shows that even if the US remains in the region, it will not be able to implement its policies.
Arnous, for his part, emphasized the expansion of cooperation between the two countries in all areas, especially in the economic fields.
The solidarity of the Resistance front has led to the failure of the US and Zionist regime's plan to collapse Gaza, to force the people of Gaza to migrate and destroy the Axis of Resistance, he said, highlighting that the resistance front from Syria to Yemen will never allow the ominous plans of the hegemony system to be implemented in the region.
