Amirabdollahian met and held talks with Al-Khulaifi on the sidelines of the third Tehran Dialogue Forum on Monday.
Congratulating Qatar on its national day, Amirabdollahian described the successful holding of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar as an honor for Islamic countries.
During the meeting, the two sides conferred on the issues of mutual interest and the latest development of talks to lift sanctions.
They also stressed the two countries determination to enhance and develop political and economic ties.
