Shiraz and Germany Rostock Univ. to cooperate

Gonbad Kavus, Dec 23, IRNA – Shiraz University and Rostock University of Germany signed a Memorandum of Understanding in the field of scientific and research cooperation, Shiraz University official said on Monday.

Rostock is a city straddling the Warnow River on the north coast of Germany.

Head of Shiraz University's Center for Scientific and International Cooperation Mohammad Saber Khaghaninejad said that memorandum of understanding to cooperate on science and research studies and teacher-student exchange, holding joint educational and research courses, short-term Persian language courses, virtual education (e-learning) and enhancing academic and educational capacities.

Mohammad Saber Khaghaninejad said that the MOU is the 15th joint scientific agreement between the University of Shiraz and the German universities.
Khaghaninejad said that international cooperation of Iranian universities with universities of different countries is on the agenda of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology.
