Iranians smoke 60 billion cigarettes per year, official warns

Tehran, IRNA – The Secretary-General of the Iranian Anti-Tobacco Association has said that there has been an increase in tobacco consumption among people over 18 years of age in the country, saying Iranians consume some 60 billion cigarettes per year.
