Endangered
Since a while ago, scientists have been talking about the sixth extinction. They have announced that half of the animal species on earth will become extinct by 2100. In Iran, population growth, habitat destruction, lack of awareness, and overhunting have caused the loss of a large number of animals. In recent years, the Caspian tiger and the Iranian lion have become extinct, and currently, about 128 species of vertebrates, including the great bustard, cheetah, and salamander, are endangered in Iran. In this collection, which has taken approximately 10 years to photograph, several Iranian animals that are in severe danger of extinction are showcased.
