Mashhad, IRNA – Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sarakhs Special Economic Zone located in Iran's northeastern Khorasan Razavi province has announced that a first Russian shipment of liquified petroleum gas (LPG) has been successfully transited via the region and through the Iranian territory to Pakistan.

Exports by rail through Sarakhs to Central Asia tripled
Mashad, IRNA – Managing director of Khorasan Railways Company said here on Sunday that during the spring and summer seasons of this year 600 thousand tons of Iranian goods were exported in over 9,500 cargo train compartments through Sarakhs land border to Central Asia, which is tripled compared with the same period last year.
