Tabriz, IRNA – The chief of East Azarbaijan Province airports said that Turkish Airlines has resumed Tabriz-Istanbul weekly flights, increasing scheduled flights for Nowruz holidays.

Ramin Azari, the director general of Iran’s East Azarbaijan Province airports, told IRNA on Wednesday that Turkish Airlines has scheduled 96 two-way flights until mid-Farvardin (April 4, 2022) in four routes: Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, and Adana.

According to the announced schedule, Azari said, 74 two-way flights are for Istanbul, 8 for Ankara, 8 for Izmir, and 6 for Adana.

He noted that Tabriz-Istanbul became the busiest international air routes among Iranian airports.
