Vienna, IRNA - Three European powers (Britain, France, and Germany) have neglected the United States' destructive role in the current situation of the 2015 nuclear deal, trying to portray Iran as an obstacle in the way of reviving the accord.

In the fifth day of the seventh round of Vienna talks, top diplomats from the three European states issued a statement following their meeting with US representative Robert Malley, claiming that they conducted several hours of interactions and all delegations put pressure on Iran to be rational, but they could not hold a real negotiation.

According to the anti-Iran statement, the Europeans think new Iranian stances are in contradiction with the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), warning about losing precious time to reach consensus.

Despite the biased statements made by European diplomats, Permanent Representative of Russia to the International Organizations in Vienna Mikhail Ulyanov wrote on his Twitter account on Monday: "At #ViennaTalks numerous outstanding issues still remain. But the negotiators work hard to narrow down the differences. For example: the #JCPOA participants (without #Iran) and #US had a late Monday evening meeting. All of them (except for US) maintain close contacts with Iran."

Earlier in another Tweet, he mentioned, "The negotiators managed to reconcile the new Iranian ideas and the need for continuity of #ViennaTalks. The world will continue on the basis of the previous drafts. The Iranian proposals will be properly considered and either incorporated or rejected or modified. Normal practice."

Meanwhile, the European trio refused to point finger at the real culprit of the existing condition in implementing the JCPOA. And now they put the blame on Iran, claiming that Iranians' attitude is disappointing.

But Iran's top nuclear negotiator Ali Bagheri Kani told IRNA on Monday that all sides have come to the negotiating table willingly and that every party has its own special condition; naturally, they adopt stances to attain more achievements in negotiations.

Whenever one side tries to utilize propaganda campaign in particular in political and media arenas, it is obvious that the party is empty-handed around negotiating table, Bagheri Kani added.

The Iranian deputy foreign minister went on to say that the Islamic Republic has adopted a firm and dignified stance during the Vienna talks, noting that the Iranian proposals are based on acceptable reasoning, so media hype by the other side will bear no fruit for them.
