The chairman of the Chiefs of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces said the US and its regional allies are going downhill, while Iranian forces are boosting their readiness to counter any threats.
Speaking on Tuesday, Major General Mohammad Baqeri enumerated as signs of the shift of power in the world: The US fleeing from Afghanistan, the beginning of the evacuation of American troops from Iraq and parts of Syria, the reduction of advanced US air defense equipment along the Persian Gulf, and the transfer of US naval forces to territories in southern China.

Iran and Syria will sign a free trade agreement in late November, according to the Trade Promotion Organization (TPO) of Iran, amid Tehran’s plans to rely more on revenues derived from exports with a focus on neighbors and allied countries.
TPO chief Alireza Payman Pak has said that the free trade deal between Iran and Syria will be finalized during a trip by Iranian trade minister to Syrian capital Damascus on November 29.

There is a bright future ahead for Taq-e Bostan and the world registration of the monument is imminent, said the head of the province’s Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization.
In an interview with ISNA, Jabbar Gohari referred to the recent trip of UNESCO’s inspectors to Kermanshah Province, saying that in addition to Bisotun Caravanserai, he had paid a visit to Taq-e Bostan historical site.
He observed that UNESCO has several inspectors who visit the historical and cultural heritage properties of various countries to assess their condition for world registration.

-- Petrol Distribution Returns to Normal After Cyberattack
A cyberattack in Iran interrupted petrol distribution at the country’s service stations on Tuesday, the Islamic Republic’s top security body said. The Supreme National Security Council confirmed that there has been a cyberattack against the petrol distribution computer system.
It had earlier reported that the interruption was due to “disruptions to the computer system”. “Details of the attack and its source are under investigation,” it added, without giving further details.
The oil ministry said only sales with smart cards used for cheaper rationed gasoline were disrupted and clients could still buy fuel at higher rates, the ministry’s news agency SHANA reported.

Iranian animation ‘Up to the Sea, She Weaves a Dream’ has been selected to compete at the 39th edition of the Tous Courts Film Festival in France.
Directed by Maryam Khalilzadeh, the 8-minute animation is a poetic film with the theme of war.
In an interview, Khailzadeh said, “the dialogue-less animation is about the women who kept themselves busy with knitting to forget and heal the post-war wounds”.

-- Ambassador says travel visas for Iranian pilgrims to Iraq canceled
The Iranian ambassador to Baghdad has announced cancellation of air travel visas for Iranian pilgrims to Iraq.
"In follow-up to the blessed birthday of the Prophet of Islam, the two countries of Iran and Iraq on Monday agreed that travelers and pilgrims of the two countries enter the two countries without a visa," Iraj Masjedi said on Monday. He added: "Iranian citizens and the people of Iraq from now on do not need to have a visa and they can travel by holding an official passport of their own country and respecting the announced health protocols. They must also have a negative corona test.” The ambassador also said: "They may ask if anyone enters Iraq by plane, can he or she return to Iran through land border, the answer is yes; he or she can return."

The Cinema Organization of Iran announced on Tuesday that the Fajr national and international film festivals will be combined again for 2022. Accordingly, the festival will be organized jointly under the title of “Fajr International Film Festival”, the director of the organization, Mohammad Khazaei, said in a press release.
“Organizing these major festivals jointly and simultaneously on the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution will certainly provide additional practical opportunities for cineastes, people and foreign guests to make the best use of the event,” he said.
