Speaking in a meeting with Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan Abdulozoda Jamoliddin Abdullo, Abdol-Maleki said thanks to the agreements and understandings between Iranian and Tajik presidents, both ministries should materialize these understandings.
Iran attaches importance to Tajikistan with regard to regional ties, he added.
He referred to capacities for establishing cooperation between Iran and Tajikistan, saying Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor, and Social Welfare is ready for reinforcing interactions with Tajikistan in various fields.
He also hailed both countries' valuable experiences in welfare and empowerment of the disabled.
Iran is ready to exchange experiences in reducing social damage, protection of bread-winning women, insurance, and pension system.
He expressed Iran's readiness to establish joint cooperation with Tajikistan in producing and packaging medicines.
Iran welcomes cooperation with Tajikistan in fighting COVID-19, Abdol-Maleki stated.
Meanwhile, Abdulozoda Jamoliddin Abdullo appreciated Iran for sending humanitarian aid to Tajikistan in time of COVID-19 pandemic.
He hailed signing MoU with Iran on social services, saying the document is based on international law and principles and its implementation is a priority in Tajikistan's foreign policy.
