Yazd, April 22, IRNA – Yazd in central Iran and Seville in Spain became sister cities as per a decision made by officials of the Iranian and Spanish cities.

Officials at Yazd City Council approved Wednesday to become sister city with Seville.

The Iranian city of Yazd is known as clay, straw walls and calligraphy, the characteristics made Yazd as rich heritage of Persian architecture to join UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities.

Seville, with population of 700,000 is Spin's fourth biggest city.
