Iranians jump over the fire to celebrate Chaharshanbe Suri, an ancient festival held on the eve of the last Wednesday of the Persian calendar year in mid-March. However, many families have regretted the loss of their loved ones during the festivity in recent years because of incidents caused by use of dangerous incendiary materials.
