Tehran, IRNA - The Iranian government has purchased some 10.36 million metric tons (mt) of wheat from farmers this calendar year (starting March 21), worth a total of 155.81 trillion rials or $3.116 billion, a senior official with the Iranian ministry of agriculture (MAJ) says.
