Tehran, IRNA - The first freight train along the 'Kazakhstan-Turkmenistan-Iran-Turkey Corridor' arrived in Iran on June 18 as part of a joint plan to activate the southern part of the East-West Corridor.

Iran, Turkmenistan renew transport ties
Tehran, IRNA – Iran’s Minister of Transport and Urban Development Rostam Ghasemi in a meeting with the Director-General of the Agency for Transport and Communications of Turkmenistan Chakyev Mammethan Berdimyradovich and his delegation on Tuesday negotiated for promotion of transport and transit ties along the corridors in the region.
