The Iranians living in the capital city of Tehran once again experienced the sweltering heat of 40 degrees Celsius on July 31, 2023, the highest temperature of the year so far. 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm is the hottest time of day, but the real heat is felt in the afternoon when the earth reflects the absorbed sun-heat.
