The 6th Iran Amateur Chess Championship was held on June 29, 2023, with participation of 430 players in Zanjan, northwestern Iran. The winners of the contest will compete at the Asian Amateur Chess Championships to be held in Dubai on August 27 and the World Amateur Championship to be held in Muscat on November 1.
