Infographic on ASMLA terrorist group

This infographic released by Habilian introduces the terrorist group Arab Struggle Movement for the Liberation of Ahvaz (ASMLA). The infographic is produced on the occasion of the second anniversary of the arrest of the leader of the ASMLA. On November 12, 2020, the Iranian Ministry of Intelligence announced that Habib Chaab, the leader of the ASMLA terrorist group, was arrested. Chaab, who has Swedish citizenship, was appointed as the ASMLA’s leader following the arrest of the group’s former leader Habib Jabr Nabagan in Denmark. The ASMLA terrorist group has conducted over 18 terrorist attacks and sabotage operations in Khuzestan Province, the terrorist acts which have led to the death of 23 citizens and the injury of hundreds of others.
