The Al Jazeera news channel reported on Sunday that Zionist settlers had launched an assault on the Al-Aqsa Mosque earlier in the day while backed by the Israeli military forces.
The Zionist military forces started a new round of aggression against the Palestinians at Al-Aqsa Mosque on April 5, injuring over 200 and arrested 400 others.
Since that day, Al-Aqsa has turned into a scene of confrontation between the Zionists and the Palestinian worshippers.
In response to the aggression, the Palestinian resistance groups have shot missiles at the settlements in the vicinity of the Gaza Strip and at targets in northern parts of the occupied lands.
The Palestinian resistance groups have stressed that Al-Aqsa Mosque is their red line and any aggression against it will face a strong response.
