'Making peace with the US equals death of the Islamic Revolution, which is the biggest harm to the people and the Islamic Establishment,' said Major General Mohammad-Ali Jafari.
Referring to a statement, published by a few Iranian expatriates, in which they demanded direct and unconditional talks with the US, he said, 'If we want to be optimistic about the issue and not call them traitors, we can [at least] say that their viewpoints are not revolutionary and Islamic.'
He added that taking their (the writers of the statement) ideology into account, one sees that such a statement was not strange at all.

Tehran, June 19, IRNA – Those who talk about unconditional and direct negotiations with the US have 'non-revolutionary and non-Islamic' ideas, and have set their views on the kind of governance and international relations that other countries do, said the commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC).
