Tehran, IRNA - After five working days and 10 open sessions of Iranian lawmakers to review the backgrounds, qualifications and plans of the proposed ministers, 19 cabinet ministers of the 14th government were determined by the full vote of confidence of the members of the parliament.

On the fifth and last day of reviewing the qualifications, plans and records of the proposed ministers of the 14th government in the public hall of the Iranian parliament, voting was done on the proposed ministers and the 14th government was determined by the votes of the members of the parliament.

Before the voting, President Masoud Pezeshkian appeared at the parliament and defended his proposed ministers for the second time this week.

After the president's speech, the voting was done by the parliament members by handing out papers and the result was announced.

A total of 288 lawmakers of the 12th parliament voted for the proposed ministers of the 14th government as follows:

1. Alireza Kazemi, proposed minister of education: 268 votes in favor

2. Sattar Hashemi, proposed minister of communications and information technology: 264 votes in favor

3. Seyyed Ismail Khatib proposed minister of intelligence: 261 votes in favor

4. Abdolnasser Hammati, proposed minister of economy and finance: 192 votes in favor

5. Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, proposed minister of foreign affairs: 247 votes in favor

6. Mohammadreza Zafarqandi, proposed minister of health, treatment and medical education: 163 votes in favor

7. Ahmed Midari, the proposed minister of cooperation, labor and social welfare: 191 votes in favor

8. Gholamreza Nouri Qazaljeh, proposed minister of agricultural jihad, 253 votes in favor

9. Amin Hossein Rahimi, proposed minister of justice: 268 votes in favor

10. Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh, proposed Minister of Defense and logistics of Armed Forces: 281 votes in favor

11. Farzaneh Sadeq, proposed minister of roads and urban development: 231 votes in favor

12. Seyyed Mohammad Atabak, proposed minister of silence: 231 votes in favor

13. Hossein Simai Saraf, proposed Minister of science, research and technology: 221 votes in favor

14. Seyed Abbas Salehi, proposed minister of culture and Islamic guidance: 272 votes in favor

15. Iskandar Momeni, proposed minister of interior: 259 votes in favor

16. Seyyed Reza Salehi Amiri, proposed minister of cultural heritage, tourism and handicrafts: 168 votes in favor

17. Mohsen Paknejad, proposed minister of oil: 222 votes in favor 

18. Abbas Aliabadi, proposed minister of energy: 255 votes in favor

19. Ahmad Donya Mali, proposed minister of sports and youth: 253 votes in favor
