Tehran, IRNA- The United States and Britain launched new attacks on Yemen on Saturday night as part of their aggression against the Arab country in order to protect the Israeli regime’s interest in the region.

News sources reported that American and British warplanes struck several areas of the Yemeni province of Hudaydah, the epicenter of such attacks in recent weeks.

Fighter jets bombed the Al-Taif area in Al-Darihami city of Hudaydah on four occasions. according to Yemen’s Al-Masirah TV network.

There were immediately no reports of possible casualties and damage from the latest attacks. American and British warplanes had bombed areas of the same province in the past days.

The United States and Britain have carried out a number of joint strikes on Yemen under the pretext of protecting maritime trade in the Red Sea that has sparked criticism, with some countries calling it the violation of Yemen’s sovereignty.

Washington and London are angry at Yemen for its operations against Israeli or Israeli-bound vessels in the Red Sea.

The Yemeni army launched its operations over the regime’s genocide in the Gaza Strip. It has, though, repeatedly announced that all other ships are free and safe to sail through the strategic waterway.

However, over the past month, Yemenis have also launched attacks on US and British ships in retaliation for the two countries’ aggression against the Arab country.
