Lebanon’s Hezbollah released a statement on Tuesday saying that the meeting had taken place between Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah and the Hamas delegation led by deputy chairman of the movement Khalil al-Hayya.
According to the statement, the two sides reviewed the latest developments in Gaza and in the West Bank and the situation of resistance groups that support people in Gaza in the war with the Israeli regime.
The talks also focused on efforts for an immediate truce in Gaza which includes the fulfilment of Resistance’s conditions in line with serving the interests of Palestine and the people in Gaza.
Following the genocidal acts of the Zionist regime of Israel against Gaza since early October, Lebanon’s Hezbollah has targeted the regime’s military bases in north of the occupied Palestinian lands in order to show support for the Palestinians.
Hezbollah attacks have frightened Zionist settlers, causing the Israeli regime to relocate them to other parts of the occupied Palestine.
More than 31,000 Palestinians, including thousands of women and children, have been killed in Gaza since the October 7, 2023, when the Israeli launched its aggression on the enclave.
