Tehran, IRNA - Palestinian resistance movement Hamas Chief Ismail Haniyeh has said that the Israeli regime and the United States will not achieve their objectives by resorting to political plots.

In a televised address on Wednesday, Haniyeh underlined that the Zionists and their American culprits will not achieve whatever they could not impose on the Palestinians in the battlefield by means of resorting to political plots.

Whatever concessions that we accept in negotiations to safeguard our nation and to end their agony in the genocidal war will be combined with our readiness to defend our people, he noted.

Haniyeh added that the Israeli regime’s army has been helpless in the face of Palestinian resistance fighters, but they only succeeded in killing women and children in Gaza.

According to the Hamas chief, the Israeli occupiers are committing the worst vicious atrocities known by human-beings such as massacre, forced displacement and field executions.

The resistance movement carried out Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, when the Israeli enemy had been preparing to fade away the issue of Palestine, he said, adding that the operation will remain the emblem of resistance and that the Palestinian people will defend mosques, churches and other sanctities, in particular Al-Aqsa Mosque.
