Mousavi Bojnourdi gained recognition in 2005 due to his outstanding research in the fields of Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) and law.
Throughout his career, he served as a member of Iran’s Supreme Judicial Council and was an active participant in the Association of Combatant Clerics.
On Monday, Mousavi Bojnourdi was laid to rest in Imam Khomeini’s mausoleum in southern Tehran.
