Speaking at a joint press conference with his Syrian counterpart in Damascus, Amirabdollahian said that there is no option but a political solution to the war and crimes in Gaza and the West Bank.
Iran continues its efforts to prevent the forced migration of the people of Gaza and the West Bank, he added.
He hailed his meeting with the Syrian president and his Syrian counterpart and vowed to work toward promoting relations in economic, tourism and industrial fields.
He offered his condolences to the Syrian nation and government for the recent US military aggression on Syrian territory and the martyrdom of a number of Syrians.
Tehran strongly condemns the illegal and illegitimate presence of foreigners in Syria, he stated.
The security of the regional countries is a common concern for both sides, just as the Iranian military advisers stood by Syria during the years of fighting terrorism, Amirabdollahian said.
“We will continue to stand by Syria,” he added.
He offered condolences on the martyrdom of senior Iranian military adviser Brigadier General Seyyed Razi Mousavi, saying that no action of the Zionist regime has remained unanswered in the region.
Despite the continuation of crimes and war by the Zionist regime, Amirabdollahian said he learned about the resistance forces' high resilience to confront the Zionists' aggression and to establish stability and security in the region.
He reiterated that the key for stable security to return to the region is for the genocide and crimes of the US and the Zionist regime against Gaza to stop.
Hamas has recently presented the framework and principles for stopping the war and a political solution to the Zionist regime, he said.
Meanwhile, Syrian Foreign Minister Faisal Mekdad stressed common views of Syria and Iran with regard to Gaza.
He vowed that the presence of American and Turkish occupying forces and any other aggressors in Syria will finally end one day.
Syria does not have any confidence in the Americans' remarks, and the solution is their departure because their presence is illegitimate, he added.
The end of Israel's occupation of the Golan Height is at the top of Syria’s priorities, and the Syrian nation is also trying to end this occupation, he stressed.
