According to Al-Shami, the US and UK attacks occur to support the Zionist regime’s crimes against Palestinians, as reported by Almayadeen news channel on Thursday.
He asserted that the international strait is secure, emphasizing that all ships can safely navigate the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandab Strait with their assistance.
Earlier, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, a member of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council, stated that as the British warship HMS Diamond left the region for maintenance, other warships would follow suit. He called for all foreign warships to exit the Red Sea, cease their attacks on Yemen, and lift the blockade on the country.
The government in Sana’a, led by the Houthi Ansarullah resistance movement, has expressed unwavering support for Palestine since the Israeli regime initiated its deadly war on Gaza on October 7.
Yemen has vowed to remain committed to retaliatory actions in the Red Sea until the Israeli regime ceases its ground and aerial offensives against Gaza, which have claimed over 27,000 lives in the besieged territory.
