According to IRNA’s correspondent in London, protesters from different ethnicities, nationalities, and religions marched through the streets of the capital and other cities in the UK on Saturday to express solidarity with the Palestinians in Gaza.
Carrying Palestinian flags and placards and chanting slogans condemning Israeli occupation and apartheid, the demonstrators also called for an end to the UK's military aid to the Zionist regime and the expulsion of the Israeli ambassador from London.
Despite restrictions imposed by the UK government to silence pro-Palestinian protesters, Saturday rallies have persisted in the country since early October, when the Israeli regime launched the genocidal war in Gaza.
Nearly 25,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children, have been killed since then.
Last week, a massive crowd of protesters gathered in front of the UK Parliament after marching through the central streets of London, urging lawmakers to support an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
