Tehran, IRNA – The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Hamas resistance movement, announced that it has carried out more retaliatory operations against the Zionist regime for its war on Gaza.

“The fighters of Al-Qassam Brigades managed to completely destroy a Zionist troop carrier north of Al-Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip with an Al-Yassin 105 shell,” it said in a statement on Saturday.

According to the statement, Al-Qassam fighters also blew up a Zionist Merkava tank with a Shuath explosive device north of Al-Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip.

“After their return from the clash areas south of Al-Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip, Al-Qassam fighters report targeting two Zionist tanks and two troop carriers with Al-Yassin 105 shells and detonating a Shuath explosive device in a third tank,” it said.

“Al-Qassam fighters clash with the Zionist Special Forces penetrating the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in Gaza City, killing and wounding more than 20 soldiers.”

Hamas launched Operation Al-Aqsa Storm against the Zionist regime on October 7, in retaliation for the regime’s ongoing violence against Palestinians. In response, the occupying regime waged a “genocidal” war on Gaza with the proclaimed aim of eradicating the resistance movement.
