A US military base in Al-Hasakah, northeast Syria, was attacked with a suicide drone on Monday, Beirut-based Al Mayadeen News Network reported.
There were no immediate reports of possible casualties. No group claimed responsibility either. But similar attacks in the past days were claimed by resistance groups in neighboring Iraq.
Those groups already warned that they would target US interests in the region in retaliation for Washington’s support for the Israeli war on Gaza, which began on October 7.
